Breathe Easy
Operators of this latest medical ventilator from Respironics can now learn about the advanced features of the device by using the interactive manual.
This interactive manual is a stand-alone application that is included with the product on CD-ROM. The electronic version complements the printed manual and includes animations and interactive features that help explain abstract concepts.
Operators can also become familiar with the device’s settings by browsing the screens and clicking on the simulated LCD display.
This project was developed using Macromedia Flash in cooperation with Technical Learning Consultants.
Animation was used to communicate complex themes.
Product photography was shot digitally on location. The backgrounds were carefully removed.
This screen explains the features available per mode and gives an example of the LCD display. The user can click items on the LCD to understand their meaning.
